The Hughes H1 was designed to be the fastest plane of it time.
Leading Edge Gliders' 60" wingspan version of the aircraft
features fiberglass-like performance combined with the durability
of EPP foam.
Specifications:
- Airfoil = RG-14
- Wing Span = 60 inches
- Radio = 2 channels
Features:
- The fuselage is "built-up" in 2 separate layers of
EPP foam and is fully pre-shapped and sanded.
- Carbon Fiber reinforced fuselage.
- Carbon Fiber wing spars.
- The aileron control assembly is prefabricated.
- The elevator pushrod assembly is prefabricated.
- Balsa tail surfaces.
